firefox does that too, and safari claims to do the same (but it rarely seems to happen). in short, i agree. i can't stand safari's key commands (yet)

Changed my mind. I cannot use anything that doesn't have a single window mode. Camino opens new windows initiated via javascript (from GReader, for example) in new tabs. I know of no other browser that does this consistently. Maybe Firefox? As such Camino is the only option. I hate new windows.
