Album | Artist | notes | |
1. | White Album | The Beatles | though it could do without some tracks toward the end of the second disc, this album has the majority of my favorite beatles song. namely, happiness is a warm gun |
2. | Hail To The Thief | Radiohead | i didn't even like this album when i first heard it. but now, i just can't get enough |
3. | Siamese Dream | Smashing Pumpkins | this was the first album i ever owned. solid from start to finish |
4. | Time (The Revelator) | Gillian Welch | another solid from start to finish |
5. | Blonde On Blonde | Bob Dylan | bobby d, you're the man. for the majority of my life, this wasn't my favorite dylan album. but lately, it's got everything i need |
i'd like to make clear that my top five albums will change with frequency. it is nearly impossible to determine your top five albums, so these are my present top five. possible others: neon golden (the notwist), abbey road (beatles), how it feels to be something on (sunny day real estate), after the goldrush (neil young), hunky dory (david bowie), ok computer (radiohead)

I'm really liking Gillian Welch lately at certain times. I Dream a Highway has that timeless magic quality to it so few other songs possess.
