updates!
greetings! i've never been able to officially say this, but thanks for joining my site. you are all great. a few updates to make sure you're aware of: as most of you know, you can send and receive messages now via peter-dot. when the mailbox's flag is up, it means you have an unread message. clicking on it will display all messages. clicking the envelope next to the unread messages (closed envelopes) will mark them as read. unfortunately, the check boxes on the right are as of now useless. i'm working on it. clicking on either the red arrow or the subject will allow you to reply to a given email. you can send messages either by clicking the compose link (the opened envelope) or by clicking the envelope next to any users name. shortly, you'll be able to see the "conversations" you've had with a given user, but for now you'll have to keep track of it yourself. the coolest update of all is the wall. so far, only cabin boy and i have used it. but you can feel free to post any thoughts you may have (clean ones), open discussions, make announcements, ask questions, talk about how handsome the administration on this site it, make suggestions regarding the site, etc. just please keep it sanitary. other updates include cool icons, easier post-it making, as well as little bug-fixes. next up is comments and conversations. yay for peter-dot!
