28 hours later...
so i finally made it back to houston. it was a rather uninteresting trip, so there's not much more to say. i got a lot of programming done, which is nice.
it's very humid here. i don't particularly like humidity, but it smells really nice. and i can see stars! it's been a long time since i've seen a star!
on the trip from hong kong to san francisco, i sat in the aisle seat with an old chinese couple next to me. it was very strange: i'd get up every now and then to go pee or walk around or whatever, and like clockwork, the woman would get up to do the same no more than two minutes after i had returned to my seat. and then, when she came back, he would get up and walk around. seems very inefficient, all that standing up and doing stuff...
so tomorrow i go back to work. there's a lot of work to be done before i head home for christmas (i'm so excited!). hopefully i'll be able to take it somewhat easy, after that fairly exhausting trip.
i suppose i should summarize my trip. maybe in another post. just know that it was great, i can't wait to go back, and i really like all of the people i [will] work with. yay!
[update 8:06pm CST] and tomorrow i get my xkcd geek tshirt!

You are back to Houston, that's good though it seemed not to be an interesting trip.
Have a great christmas! And come back before I forget who is Peter;)
