1. What is more difficult for you: looking into someone's eyes when you are telling them how you feel, or looking into someone's eyes when they are telling you how they feel?

   honestly, i have a difficult time looking at anyone's eyes when i start thinking about how to respond. thus, i usually have a harder time when people are telling me. however, when people are talking to me, for some reason, i feel it's more intimate when i look at their mouth. so i don't usually even try. if i care about this person and know they won't judge me, then i look at their mouth.

2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY you were angry? Do you still feel the same way? If not, WHAT CHANGED to make you feel differently?

   i get pretty angry about really stupid stuff. such as comma usage.

3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you say to them?

   some guy on 911: loose change (which you all should watch) said that there was like a .006% success rate for making calls from a plane. so i'm not sure i'd even bother. i'd try to call one of a handful of people (you know who you are, i hope), but really i'd probably try to get to the right place of my own considering i was about to die. i think if i could think of someone and smile as i die, it would be far more to me than calling anyone

4. You are at the doctor's office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone that you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days?

   as above, i'd try to get in the right place myself. most of the people that i love could help me get into the right place, so i'd tell them, probably. but not until we were in the right situation. and only if i knew they realized that i had thought about it and wouldn't overreact. because then i'd feel pressure to do something i may not want to

5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why?
   a. $2000
   b. no more worries.

   there's a reason i say no worries when people call me two hours after my third REM cycle. and money's not real

6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you will be fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?

   drowning in a canal? and really, the dog would probably bite me or bark until i wanted to drop kick it. i'd try, but probably try to find someone who could do more than i, a dog-weeny, could do.

7. You are unfaithful to your spouse/significant other. Do you tell him/her? Why or Why not?

   what's the point of being with someone if you can't show them every part of you. you just have to trust that your sig-other will eventually come to trust you when you say it meant nothing (and if it meant something, you're a dick and shouldn't even bother trying. people make mistakes, but they should always say something). i hate secrets.

8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more then just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you do say?

   do i love this person? the same way that she does? i'd try to react as calmly as possible, and try to think things through before i say anything.

9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?

   which year? which hour? i know a few people that have died, but i haven't truly cared about any of them since fifth grade. hopefully it'll be a long time before i say something different

10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?

    i'd like to think so, but i'm pretty irritating and hypocritical.

11. Does love = sex? sex = love?

    no. "i'm tired. so tired. i'm tired of having sex... oh why can't i be making love come true?"

12. Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?

    do i like the job? can i get one like it? do i need the job? do i care for this person? honestly, probably not.

13. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?

    i always joke about my rules. but really, there are two. 1. be honest with yourself. 2. be honest with others. in that order. and i try

14. What would be harder for you to tell a friend: that you love them, or that you do not love them back?

    that i don't love them back. i can think of very few things that would be harder

15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be so hard to lose?

    if we're talking about material possessions, i'd say my computer because it contains so much of me. if we're talking about things that i can give up, i'd say music. it'd kill me.

16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them? Who are they to you?

    it's hard for me to tell this to my friends. not using words, i like to think i tell people this all the time.

17. Imagine: it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHOM do you wish was there with you?

    i'm standing on the bridge. i'm waiting in the dark. i thought that you'd be here by now. someone who i don't need explain anything to. someone who knows right away

18. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?

    i don't know CPR

19. You are holding onto your grandmother's hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?

    chocolate. on a kiddie cone. unless it involves brownies, pie, or fruit (then it's vanilla)

21. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?

    i hope it wasn't too long ago for your sakes (because then you'll like me and give me candy.)

22. Which would you choose: true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or to have never loved at all? Why?
