block 1, day 3
so, somehow, it's already wednesday night. i've already had three classes in mathematical analysis. what a beautiful little topic (thus far, at least). as of now, we're talking about number sets and different kinds of infinities. so much interesting, valuable stuff to learn and think about! class is only about two hours, which is wonderful, and generally contains only stuff that i'm fairly interested in. i imagine it'll start to get much harder soon, once we start doing epsilon delta proofs, but until then, i'm loving it.
anyway, after class today i noticed that some of the time zone stuff on the site was a little messed up. i'm pretty sure i fied it, but let me know if the times seem a little strange to you. and i've been working on some neato top five code... pretty soon, you'll be able to search top five lists for elements of the list, users (who posted it), within comments, and the titles of lists. it's surely still a work in progress, but hopefully it'll make things a little smoother. and that should be up, if all goes according to plan, in a few days.
and today i had quite a lovely afternoon. i went out to get some coffee with christy and we had a long-needed catching up. it was great... we chatted a bit about china and india (she was in india), but mainly just shot the shit. it was great. afterwards, i went running with jeremy and then we went to get 30%-off sushi downtown. it was the best sushi i've had in a long time, and all for 30%off! anyway, so that's pretty much all that's been happening. i hope all has been going well for you guys! happy thursday!
