japan: the chronicles

so i've been back now from japan for a little over 24 hours. i've had a fair (though insufficient) amount of time to dwell on the voyage, try to digest it, and look over some of the pictures i took. it would be silly to try and capture the whole trip in one long post, where i'd obviously ramble and roll for way too long and lost most (all?) of the audience.

instead, i'm going to try something new. i'm going to spend some time over the next while going through the photos i took that have some significance. then i'll post one, on petercompernolle.com, and blog about it here. then, after i've run out of photos, i may have a few additional blogs.

[also, i feel like i fell off the face of the planet for the last week. from what a few of you have told me, you feel the same. sorry about that. but i'm back now! healthy as a bee. and holy moly was it great to see stefan for the first time in 18 months!]
