two weeks

so it recently dawned on me that in a mere two weeks, i will be a college graduate. how cool is that?!

i have quite a bit to do before those two weeks are up (rather, there's quite a bit i'd like to do, but my class isn't demanding too much of me. either way, it'll probably be rather busy, especially with the whole festivus thing coming up so soon. it seems most people on this site are in similar situations (either graduating soon, graduated recently, or otherwise excited about the things they are interested in doing sometime soon and hope to. my sister, maggie33, is going to korea. anyway, i thought i'd mention a few of my plans for next semester and hopefully elicit some sort of response with your plans. (i just went to adam's mountain cafe with stefan, where we talked about this stuff, and i got very excited. after all, it's so exciting!)

though i'm not sure exactly how this will fall in to place chronologically, i hope to work a bunch this spring and make some money. hopefully at a custom framing shop, as a bartender, on the railroad, or at adam's. nothing too serious, nothing that i'll get tied down to, but something that will be fun, hopefully pay well, and provide for good experience for the future. after i make some money, i'm planing on taking a little trip to see nellie (since she never seems to visit peterdot) in santa cruz via train. as i see it, there's nothing quite like taking a train cross country (though i can't say i ever have), especially through the mountains and towards the pacific. not sure how long that trip will be, but right now i'm shooting for two or three weeks, wallet size-depending. after that, graduation. after that, a trip with stefan to europe. this may be before graduation, so, as i said, chronology is unclear. if it's after graduation, we're planning on a trip to various places yet undetermined, and coming home only when the well runs dry or we get bored. i can't wait. after that, return home and make some american money and spend some time with family and friends before making the trip out to kunming.

all in all, what isn't there to look forward to?! i can't wait. and you guys? any neato plans?
