iPhone: 8794, Blackberry: 0

my blackberry sucks again. i suppose the device and its lousy services never changed. but i feel the same way as i did two hours ago.

haha that means that my iPhone and computer(s) can access twitter now too. not just my blackberry. sorry, little guy, you're the same piece of shit you were an hour or so ago. i guess i should change the title of this post...

wait. something's odd. my twitter timeline in adium just updated. with my tweets from before my run. hooray! twitter is reopened! no more blocking!

well that run was pathetic. somehow, i got 4 phone calls, 7 text messages, and my GPS didn't work for the first two kilometers. not to mention the bugs in my teeth, dust in my eyes from those huge trucks, and the two guys that literally got off their bikes to stare at me.

now that i've tweeted a bit on my silly little physical keyboard, i think i'll go for a run. it's almost 7, and i want to get a good run in before it gets too late.

cheers, my little company blackberry. you can circumvent the great firewall of china.

so this is kind of funny. i've complained several times about how blackberries use a "false" data service. rather than accessing the real internet, blackberries access data through their servers in canada. this is how email push notifications are so fast, and how, back in the stone age when a few kilobytes was huge, blackberries were able to "browse" the "internet" -- the servers would eliminate the photos and the extraneous text, and then format the bare bones to make it reasonable for the devices to load. and now, i assume because of those silly servers, i'm able to access twitter, even in china! (before, i was unable to)

hooray! iPhone: 8794, Blackberry: 1! you did it, poor little guy! you got a point! there actually appears to be something you can do that my iPhone can't!
