Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill vol. 1 are also good - and the soundtrack to Katamari is possibly one of the most obnoxious but funny soundtracks I've heard. The Life Aquatic soundtrack is also really good - so is the Royal Tennenbaums. Actually, there are so many good soundtracks - this is why I'm not good at top fives.

good call with american beauty. that had completely slipped my mind. but that's got some god stuff on it. and you can't go wrong with amelie or o' brother
