  Movies   notes
1. Amelie yann tiersen's finest work. and audrey tautou makes everything more beautiful
2. O Brother, Where Art Thou? big rock candy mountain alone puts this up there
3. The Graduate i mean, come on. april comes she will? great great song
4. Royal Tennenbaums who else would think to put "everyone" by van morrison on a soundtrack but wes anderson?
5. The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou david bowie is the man. period

there are obviously several other soundtracks that are well worth mentioning. among them are almost famous (as i suppose there is a little bit of hippy in me afterall), forrest gump, and a few more that i'm sure i'll think of when it's too late.

  Movies   notes
1. Newsies "I say that what you say is what I say"
2. Dancer In The Dark I wish they had the "next to last song" on it, though.
3. Amelie
4. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
5. American Beauty

Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill vol. 1 are also good - and the soundtrack to Katamari is possibly one of the most obnoxious but funny soundtracks I've heard. The Life Aquatic soundtrack is also really good - so is the Royal Tennenbaums. Actually, there are so many good soundtracks - this is why I'm not good at top fives.
