  Title   notes
1. Grave Of The Fireflies most depressing and sad beautiful movie i think i've ever seen
2. The Emperor's New Groove squeak, squeaking, squeaker
3. The Triplets Of Belleville i just really like the style of this movie
4. The Incredibles i think this is really simply an accomplishment. from a technical standpoint, as far as i can tell (or have been told), and from a film standpoint. gwynne has always said that CA films should always need to be CA and have a reason for not being live action. this does just that. it's perfect for what it is, and it is really great
5. Toy Story can't mess with the classics (even though this is hardly classic in terms of all animated films, especially snow white and such form nearly a century ago)

after having completed this list, which most likely will change, i am startled to realized that i have only one computer animated film. i'm really surprised that nemo, shrek, monsters inc, ice age. not to mention other miyazaki films, spirited away, princess mononoke, castle in the sky. and then there's the whole world of disney films, robin hood, rescuers down under, peter pan, pinocchio, fantasia, dumbo, bambi, which are really just classic. and not to mention animated shorts, monk & the fish, father daughter, abby something, ukele lady. really this is an extremely difficult list to make. i hope i didn't forget any big ones
