  Title   notes
1. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind this gets a big fat hands down. there is no question in my mind as to whether or not this is number one. in my opinion, this is the realest kind of love: a love that grows slowly but strongly, a love that is based on all the little things rather than a single big thing that is obviously just a distraction. the little things are all that matters. and that one scene where she asks if she's ugly...
2. Before Sunset amazing writing. though this love may not be what love i can imagine myself actually being in, it's a kind of romanticized (ha) love
3. Bonnie And Clyde a slightly unconventional love movie, but incredible.
4. Once i just saw this movie and didn't even think twice about adding it to this list. amazing.
5. Leon The Professional unconventional, yes. but those two really loved each other

note: this list is compiled with specific criteria involved. these movies are what i would consider to be representations of the realest love, whatever that means, as demonstrated in an additionally remarkable film. not only are these great movies of any genre, but they are specifically love movies that really represent something special that we all know, wish to know, once knew, or hope for. note that i did not put the graduate on here. though it's a fantastic movie, allegedly about love, it is far from love in the movie.

also mentionable: amelie, finding neverland, lost in translation, adaptation (though that was more of a love out of loneliness and wanting something else), sideways (solely for the scene when he finds out why she doesn't drink any more), grave of the fireflies, the industrial revolution never seemed so attractive, monsters inc, sex lies and videotape, hero, ice age, finding nemo, and so many more...
