  Unit Measurement notes
1. Radian Angle so cool it doesn't even need a unit. and thank god someone made a unit that makes perfect sense.
2. Degree Kelvin Temperature what brilliance. zero actually means something in a world aside from math. and it's based on the scale of celsius, which is defined based on the properties of water, which is rather important on this planet
3. Lightyear Distance woah. that's a hell of a unit
4. Joule Energy so much metric bliss in a single unit
5. Nibble Binary Storage a bit is either a 0 or 1. a nibble is 2 bits. 2 bits is a crumb. 2 crumbs is a byte. 1024 bytes is a kB (kilobyte)

note: i hate american standard units. i hate degrees (ie 360 in a circle). i hate pounds. i really hate feet. and inches. i mean, how did they ever figure out what those units really were before they had standards? oh. right. it was the size of the king's pinky finger knuckle. of course. next time i lose a ruler i'll be sure to ask the king if i can borrow his finger.

note also: anything metric is pretty stellar. the fact that you need only to define one unit to get every other blows me away.
